Our detectors are built to last long even in the most extreme conditions

We started the business by creating machines that could be used all the over the world, meaning in the most extreme conditions. During the 2009-2012 successive gold rushes in Africa, manufacturers offered products that couldn't resist the extreme temperatures that can be encountered in many countries. For instance, at really high or low temperatures copper in the coil will expand or shrink causing the coil and the detector to stop working. Hundreds of users that bought unapropriate devices therefore lost their investment. It's the same issue with humidity. That's why, when we first created FX II and FX 3000 we focused on producing devices that could resist really tough environment: extreme temperature, moist, sand. As we launched new detectors we also adapt our machines to more friendly conditions. Therefore our new hobby machines, starting in 2015, will include wider LCD screen, smaller control boxes, Wireless headphones.
