Textured Soy Protein Processing Plant


 Textured soy / Vegetarian protein TSP (TVP), is made from soy protein concentrate by giving it some texture. TSP is available as dry flakes or chunks. The protein food is extruded from the dies of extruder, the food is sliced into granules, flakes, chunks, nuggets, goulash, steakettes (schnitzel), etc. It will keep its structure when hydrated. Hydrated textured soy protein chunks have a texture similar to meat.
